Alderman’s House occupies a prime location within the City of London at the intersection of Bishopsgate with Liverpool Street and within the immediate vicinity of Liverpool Street Station. The development is a major redevelopment of the site to provide approximately 41,500 sq ft of Grade A offices and approximately 8,100 sq ft of retail space.
The substructure and civil works required significant site protection during the development. Methods statement of demolition and excavation works were developed in detail prior to the construction work. Shoring and structure isolation was necessary in the development of the basement and substructure.
